On the other hand, pigeons are somewhat clumsy when it comes to building nests, and they tend to be oblivious to danger—there’s something a little off about them that always makes me watch with a sense of nervousness. Still, I believe there must be individual differences. Some stink bugs, before releasing their defensive scent, might first play dead, cautiously waiting out the danger in a peaceful way. Likewise, some pigeons, oblivious to the danger (and the scent), might help others without hesitation, though they might lack a sense of timing.
